Microcontroller differential transformer protection
MK-DZT-3 microcontroller differential transformer protection is designed for protection of two- and three-winding power transformers and autotransformers with HV-side voltage of 35 kV from phase faults and interturn short circuits.
MK-DZT-3 implements the functions of protection and automation, control over switching devices, measuring and signaling:
- 2 degrees of differential protection — differential overcurrent and the sensitive biased differential protection;
- overcurrent protection;
- disconnecting from external protection;
- “OFF” command to the circuit breaker;
- emergency and warning alarm.
Using the analog-to-digital and microprocessor element base provides high accuracy and consistency of performance.
