Dismountable modular buildings are designed for:
- the allocation of different engineering equipment;
- provision of the optimum conditions for its operation;
- creation of the comfortable & safety working conditions for the maintenance personnel.
The allocation of the engineering equipment in modular buildings gives the customer a wide range of advantages. The price of the modular building is much less then the costs for construction of a permanent stationary building.
High degree of adaptation and portability
Already at the designing stage, the building is adapted to the specific equipment to be allocated. Portability of the modular buildings is one of their important features. The engineering unit, constructed on the basis of the modular structures (for ex., distribution point or the control board ) can be dismantled and newly re-erected at the new place within several hours.
Modular buildings structure
The skeleton of the building is made of steel squares ГН 100х4 according to Technical specification 36-2887-80, that makes the structure light and particularly strong. Floor framework of the modular buildings is made of steel channel, and the bottom of the building - of sheet S-3 mm, grade С245 GOST 27772-88, the sealed welds passing along its perimeter. Such type of the floor takes the uniformly distributed load not less than 250 kgF/m2. Another important factor is that floor is heat insulated by the basalt incombustible heat insulation material “URSA” П-17.
The walls of a modular building have 100 mm width. They are assembled of three-layer steel panels (ПСТМ) with mineral wool heat insulation material based on the basalt fiber «Linerock-sandwich S», corresponding to the requirements of the fire safety. To fix one wall panel to another as a structure, there is a Z-type Lock. The roof of the building is assembled of fire-resistant steel two-layer frameless monopanels with the combined insulation material and corrugated plates of 80 mm thickness.
The ceiling of the building is plated with the cold-rolled shaped sheet, galvanized from both sides and covered with protective-ornamental paint.
The windows and doors of the modular building are also structured and assembled with the account of the safety precaution rules and comfort for the maintenance personnel. For example, the steel doors are also heat insulated and possess the increased fire resistance. They are installed without the door steps, outward opened and self-locked. The locks can be opened from inside the room without a key. The dimensions of the doors provide the equipment to be carried through.
If it is necessary, one can install aluminium alloy framed windows with two-compartment double glass in the modular building.
The buildings are furnished with freight-passenger platforms (removable fencings), which provide the shifting of the equipment, located inside. In the rooms proper there are 250х250 mm vent holes (with the consequent installation of the electric fans), protection gratings with 10х10 mm mesh and heat insulated covers. Dimensions and places of location of the cable inputs and holes for the installation of the bushings at the roof correspond to the equipment being installed inside the buildings. The colour design of the buildings is performed in the blue-white range. The buildings of more than 6 m length are delivered to the erection site as prefabricated modules with the electric equipment installed inside.
