КРУВ-6/10М are used at mines with dust/gas dangerous working conditions and are designated for:
- Distribution of the electric power of 6/10 kV voltage;
- Protection of the brunching electric mains against emergency processes;
- Current collectors control (including the control with the digital interfaces).
Performance of the automation functions (at the distribution devices as well). The equipment has got the License of the Federal Service on Environmental, Technology and Nuclease surveillance and Certificate of Conformity GOST R (issued by ISO «Sertium»).
Principle of operation and performance capabilities
The input of the КРУВ power cable is done through the cable inputs (there can be installed up to two cable inputs, each giving the possibility to connect a cable of up to 70 mm dia.
From the input compartment, the power circuits get into the disconnector compartment. Here you can control the position of the disconnector blades through the inspection glasses. Next, the power circuits come to the switchgear compartment, where the БАВ switching center is located.
Principle of operation and performance capabilities of КРУВ
After the power circuits get out of the switchgear compartment, they are re-commutated with the disconnector and come into the compartment of the branching connections. To output a cable to this compartment, two cable inputs can be also connected.
The basic functional part of КРУВ is the carriage-type element — БАВ (high-voltage chassis). There are vacuum circuit breaker and micro-controller blocks, instrument voltage transformer and current probes, power feed circuits and protection systems mounted on it.
The maintenance of the equipment at the mining conditions is not an easy task. If the electricity distribution device is intended to supply the voltage to a certain important unit, then a field engineer may have some minutes only to find and fix the faults. That is why our engineers have designed such a lay-out of the БАВ elements, which allows to quickly perform the trouble shooting and replacement of any block. Thus, the repair of any complexity takes a minimum of time.
In case if КРУВ is incorporated into the distribution device, they use the connecting pipe for the busbar bridge.
Recently, in order to increase the output at mines, they use more and more expensive and sophisticated machinery, demanding the qualitative and safety electric power. So, the distribution device should have a reliable discriminating protection system.
КРУВ provides the powermen with a big package (more than 30 algorithms) of relay protection systems, and each of them can be adjusted individually for each consumer.
Apart from this, the usage of the microcontrollers gives the possibility to realize the various functions of automatic control. All this creates an easily adaptable complex, providing the reliable protection of a fed area.
All the listed advantages become obvious when using КРУВ as an element of the distribution plant.
Unlimited communication performance
КРУВ can be treated as an element of the automation system as well. Microcontroller complex КРУВ can not only present any information about the operation of the fed unit, but also allows to control with the help of the digital interface. More over, one can use the specifically laid standard cables as well as the power cable proper, supplying the power voltage, as a communication line. The program complex of the КРУВ microcontroller system allows to process, analyze and transfer any data: current values, voltage, switch position signal etc – along the digital communication channels. On the contrast to the most analogs, the protocol of the КРУВ communication channel is an open one. This allows creating the local information systems and ingrate into the existing automatic control systems.
In 2009 a symbolic event for our company happened – after long and thorough tests we have arranged the production of our own vacuum circuit breakers ЕХ-ВВ. The elaboration of these circuit breakers was conducted for several years. Since the main purpose of ЕХ-ВВ is its application as a basic switching device КРУВ and РУВН of the transformer substations, the design of the circuit breaker is specifically adapted to be used within these devices.
Along with the vacuum circuit breakers we have developed power and control modules, enabling to perform the switching on/off of the circuit breaker more quickly as well as to increase the service life of the electric equipment. Our operation experience assures that now КРУВ became much more reliable.
Adjustment for a certain power consumer
The designing of a vacuum circuit breaker is not our single innovation. Since the growing facilities of the mining consumers demand more and more electric power, we suggest an option of КРУВ-6/10М with the enhanced jumper and disconnector that allows commutating the current up to 1000 А. But still the dimensions of КРУВ are the same. In this case the connection of КРУВ is done through two cable inputs with the cables of 240 mm2 core section. The operational algorithm of the КРУВ microcontroller system provides the implementation of more than 30 algorithms of various protection systems, each of which can be configured according to the parameters of the consuming unit. Apart from this, there are automatic control functions, implemented into the system. All this produces an easily adapted complex, providing the safety protection system of the all-mains area.
Technical maintenance of the equipment at mines is not an easy task; it requires special properties of the equipment. In order to simplify it, the designers have generated such a layout of КРУВ modules, which enables to quickly find and rectify the faults.
